Also in view are the four water intake towers, and, in the background above the dam, the east and west ends of the new Colorado River Bridge, due for completion in summer 2010. The historical high water mark is evident from the bleached white rocks around the lake; above this the cliffs are dark, weathered and completely lacking any vegetation.
