Livingston Hotels

Fifteen miles south of Livingston along US 89, the Yellowstone Valley Lodge has a beautiful location on the west bank of the Yellowstone River, looking across to the tall peaks of the Absaroka Range. The boutique, ranch-style hotel is 800 feet from the highway, shielded by trees and surrounded by fields, within a short drive of the edge of the Gallatin National Forest and 38 miles from Gardiner at the northwest entrance to Yellowstone National Park. Accommodations are divided into cabins, containing a full kitchen and two or four bedrooms, and all have a private deck overlooking the river. The complex also includes a fine-dining restaurant (free continental breakfast provided), a business center and meeting space.

New for spring 2024, Home2 Suites Livingston is an extended stay/all-suite, pet friendly property, towards the southwest edge of the city at the intersection of I-90 with US 89; in a largely residential neighborhood, though close to several restaurants and shops. All accommodations are equipped with a kitchenettes. Daily hot breakfast is complimentary. The hotel has a fitness center and an outdoor pool.

Fairfield Inn by Marriott Livingston, open early 2021, is situated, like most other lodging, at the US 89/I-90 intersection on the south edge of town, backing on to a residential area. There are plenty of restaurants close by, and the Yellowstone River is also within walking distance. The hotel has four floors and 90 rooms, with all the standard brand amenities - hot tub, pool, bbq grills, meeting space, business & fitness centers. Free hot breakfast is provided.

Like all of the small selection of hotels in Livingston, MT, the Yellowstone Park Inn is located beside I-90 exit 333 (Park Street) on the south edge of town close to the Yellowstone River and 53 miles from the Gardiner entrance to Yellowstone National Park. The hotel is an older property of 99 interior corridor rooms including a selection of suites with kitchenette facilities and a sofa bed. Some have mountain views. Around the hotel are a several restaurants and small shops, and Livingston Memorial Hospital. Facilities include free breakfast, an indoor pool, meeting space and a lounge/bar.

Accommodation at Travelodge Livingston is basic and affordable - the motel is an old-style, single floor, exterior corridor property of 44 rooms, some with microwave & refrigerator, located at the south edge of town near exit 333 of interstate 90. An adjacent restaurant/lounge/casino serves food all day, though free continental breakfast is available at the inn. Other amenities are a small indoor pool, a guest-use computer, free wi-fi and meeting/event space.

The 50 room, pet friendly, interior corridor Econo Lodge is part of a business corridor along US 89 (Park Street), adjacent to Interstate 90 and one mile from the downtown area. Free hot breakfast is prepared each morning and there are several restaurants within walking distance, plus a supermarket. The hotel sits a little way back from the highway so provides a restful night's sleep; its other amenities are a hot tub, indoor pool, newsstand, guest laundry, free wi-fi and basic business services.

The Super 8 is the southernmost hotel in Livingston, the first to welcome travelers from the south along US 89. The Yellowstone River flows past a short distance east, providing a course for the highway en route from Yellowstone National Park, the northwest entrance to which is just 53 miles away. Guest rooms have views of mountains in most directions, though the immediate neighborhood is quite developed, a mix of restaurants, gas stations and other businesses, including Albertson's supermarket just opposite. Clean accommodations, friendly staff and the easy-to-reach location (adjacent to I-90) are the main reasons to stay, as amenities are very limited, just free continental breakfast and free wi-fi.
