California City Hotels

The first hotel in the Mojave Desert town of California City opened early 2012 opposite Central Park and adjacent to Tierra Del Sol golf course, along the main east-west street through town (California City Boulevard). The three floor Best Western Inn has 60 nicely decorated rooms, featuring a microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker and ironing equipment; a few include a hot tub bath and a sofa bed, while those on the west side have sweeping views across town and the Fremont Valley to the south end of the Sierra Nevada mountains. Free hot breakfast is served every morning, and for other meals there are a selection of restaurants a few blocks west. Leisure facilities are the usual outdoor pool, hot tub and fitness center.
