Quality Inn Fallbrook La Estancia has a pleasant countryside setting along Old Highway 395 near Pala Mesa Village - overlooking hilly land alongside exit 46 of I-15, nine miles southeast of the center of Fallbrook. Other places within 15 miles include the Pala and Pechanga Casinos, Mission San Antonio de Pala, Old Town Temecula and Camp Pendleton Marine Base. Like the nearby mission, the hotel has a Spanish design, adorned with palm trees and boasting a peaceful tropical courtyard garden, in which are found the outdoor pool, hot tub and pavilion. There is a restaurant on site (room service & free continental breakfast available), and the 41 guest rooms are all equipped with microwave and refrigerator.

Many of the 50 large, clean rooms at Rodeway Inn Fallbrook contain a microwave & refrigerator, and have views over the central courtyard and outdoor pool - the hotel has the familiar exterior corridor design, with several accommodation blocks arranged around the parking area. The inn faces the main street through town (Mission Road), half a mile south of Fallbrook Towne Center shopping plaza, and one mile from the main (east) entrance to Camp Pendleton Marine Corps Base. Free continental breakfast is served.

Fallbrook's Econo Lodge motel is a fairly old, interior corridor, two story building along Mission Road towards the south edge of Fallbrook, with views over farmland to the east. The local airport is half a mile south and there are many restaurants and shops within a half mile walk northwards. The motel converted from another brand fall 2010 and provides all the expected amenities for a budget-priced property, including free continental breakfast, free wi-fi, an outdoor pool and a copy/fax service. Some rooms have a refrigerator and microwave.
