Like other hotels in Hollister, the Holiday Inn Express is located at the north side of town at the edge of the countryside, close to the Hwy 25/Hwy 156 intersection, within walking distance of shopping and dining. The 42 room, exterior corridor SureStay Hotel by Best Western has a countryside location beyond the north edge of Hollister at the junction of highways 25 & 156, lined by palm trees and surrounded in most directions by flat farmland. Most facilities in the neighborhood are between one and two miles south, in the town center. All guest rooms contain a microwave, coffee maker & refrigerator; the other main amenities are an outdoor pool, business center and free breakfast.

Guest rooms at Fairfield Inn Hollister enjoy views over fields and open countryside - the hotel has a rural location at the end of a side street off San Felipe Road, on the north edge of the city. At least six restaurants are with a few minute's walk. The hotel has four floors, 77 guest rooms & suites, a fitness center, and indoor pool and one meeting room. The main natural attraction in the area, Pinnacles National Park, is 30 miles south.
