The 102 room SpringHill Suites is an early 2021 addition to the main group of hotels in Lake Forest, serving Irvivg Business Center beside I-5 exit 92A (Lake Forest Drive), also near many shops and restaurants. Holiday Inn Express Lake Forest is a fine, well maintained hotel of 60 oversized rooms, located in a quiet area beneath a wooded mesa near the north edge of town - along Lake Forest Drive, 4 miles from I-5 and 1 mile from the 241 Toll Road. Fee hot buffet breakfast is provided, and the hotel has a pleasant, sheltered pool/hot tub at the rear. A reasonable selection of restaurants are located within walking distance, and there is also a hiking trail nearby, through Nature Park and other natural areas.

All guest rooms at Best Western Plus Irvine Spectrum Hotel feature a refrigerator, microwave, coffee/tea maker and work desk, while some have one or more of a sofa bed, hot tub bath and balcony. Half have views of the outdoor pool, at the center of the property in a courtyard garden. The 90 room hotel provides free hot breakfast each morning and is a short walk from a dozen restaurants, with many more one mile south along El Toro Road. The property is situated a little way south of Lake Forest Drive (I-10 exit 92A), also near Mission Viejo, Laguna Hills and Irvine.

The Quality Inn hotel in Lake Forest has an easy-to-reach location one block from the Lake Forest Drive exit of I-5, at the edge of a business park and within a short walk of shopping and dining, with two restaurants adjacent. All 112 guest rooms have a microwave, refrigerator, and more unusually, a balcony, which gives nice views over the tree-lined parking lot across the generally quiet neighborhood.
