The Courtyard by Marriott hotel is centrally located in Monterey Park along Atlantic Boulevard, near the I-10 intersection, opposite the shops and restaurants of Atlantic Times Square. Parking is in a basement garage, above which the building rises six storeys, containing 288 guest rooms & suites, and 6,000 square feet of conference space. The hotel also has its own restaurant/bar, open for breakfast, lunch & dinner, plus the usual facilities for business and recreation.

In hilly land half way between I-10 and the Pomona Freeway, Comfort Inn Monterey Park accommodates guests in 52 clean, new and well furnished rooms, some containing a refrigerator & microwave. The building is of quite recent construction, with three floors and interior corridors, and is close to many shops and restaurants along S Atlantic Boulevard, about a mile west of the town center. Facilities are limited to free continental breakfast and free internet access - there are no leisure amenities. Downtown Los Angeles is 7 miles west, mostly along interstate 10.
