San Bruno's Courtyard by Marriott hotel has the typical design for this brand with the 147 rooms and suites (on 2 floors) built around a landscaped courtyard garden featuring mature trees, flowers, footpaths and a gazebo, though not in this case a swimming pool as that is inside, next to the hot tub. Rooms are large & clean, and the hotel serves freshly cooked breakfast in a cafe off the lobby, but perhaps the best aspect is the central location - a short walk from many restaurants and shops including at the Tanforan Mall, one mile from the San Bruno BART station, right next to I-380 half way between I-280 & US 101, and 3 miles from San Francisco International Airport (served by free shuttle).
