Scotts Valley Hotels

Although advertised as being in Santa Cruz, the Hilton is much closer to Scotts Valley - the full service hotel is situated on the south side of town at the edge of a quiet, residential area, near CA 17 but set back a little from the highway. Rooms have views either of a patch of redwood forest to the west, fields to the south or the good sized parking lot, at one side of which is a secluded outdoor pool. The on-site restaurant, Stonehouse Bar & Grill is open for breakfast, lunch & dinner; for other dining choices the nearest places are half a mile north in the center of Scotts Valley. Amongst the other facilities are a fitness studio, business center and a selection of meeting rooms.

The 128 room/suite Four Points by Sheraton is part of the long line of shops, restaurants and other businesses along Scotts Valley Drive - in the center of town, yet with views of wooded hills on all sides. The ancient trees of Henry Cowell Redwoods State Park are 3 miles west, and there are many other parks and preserves within an hour's drive. Onsite dining (breakfast & dinner) is provided by 5030 Restaurant & Lounge, while meals can also be ordered via the local restaurant delivery service. Other amenities are a 24 hour fitness center, meeting space and an outdoor terrace.

Six miles north of Santa Cruz in the quiet town of Scotts Valley, the Best Western is a medium sized (58 room) hotel with Spanish design influences, situated towards the north side of town just off Highway 17. Some of the top floor rooms have views across the valley to the redwood hills beyond, location of several state parks including Henry Cowell, Forest of Nisene Marks and the Big Basin Redwoods. The hotel features a nice outdoor pool & hot tub, a steam room, spa and a business center. A small selection of restaurants can be found a short distance south along the main road (Scotts Valley Drive).
