Serving San Fernando Valley and the US 101 corridor, Courtyard Los Angeles Sherman Oaks has a central location by the 101/I-405 intersection, just down the street (Ventura Boulevard) from Sherman Oaks Galleria Mall. Facilities are comprehensive and the accommodation is very well presented - the 213 rooms & suites are bright, spacious, modern, and feature upscale amenities like granite counter tops, Egyptian cotton towels and extra luxurious bedding. The Bistro restaurant/bar is open for breakfast & dinner, and room service is available 24 hours a day. The 14 story building also contains a fitness center, business center and 15,000 sq ft of meeting/event space, including the Grand Ballroom which can accommodate up to 540. A fine view of the neighborhood can be appreciated from the 3rd floor rooftop pool.

I-405 runs right past Hampton Inn Van Nuys, meeting US 101 half a mile south, so allowing easy travel in all directions. The 96 room hotel sits along busy Sepulveda Boulevard, close to shopping and dining but also within a few miles of unspoilt natural landscapes including Sepulveda Basin Recreation Area and the Santa Monica Mountains. All the usual amenities are provided: free hot breakfast, free wi-fi, a fitness center, indoor pool and meeting space for up to 40 people.

Although it has an older design, with its 181 clean & spacious rooms in several lengthy, exterior corridor blocks overlooking the parking lot, Best Western Carriage Inn is a popular and quite fully featured hotel, also offering an outdoor heated pool, hot tub, cocktail lounge, fitness center and guest laundry. Meals are available 24 hours a day at the on site Denny's restaurant, though unusually for a Best Western there is no free breakfast for all, only for residents of the Business Plus rooms. The hotel is situated near the middle of the San Fernando Valley along Sepulveda Boulevard - right next to I-405, a mile north of Sherman Oaks Galleria Mall and 12 miles from the Hollywood/Beverly Hills area.
