Susanville Hotels

The largest of the small number of hotels in Susanville, CA, is the 85 room SureStay Plus Hotel by Best Western, located along the main road through town (CA 36), close to the east side of the suburbs where most of the large stores are found including the Sierra Shopping Center and Wal-Mart. The well equipped hotel has an on site restaurant - the Black Bear Family Diner, a heated outdoor swimming pool, 24 hour front desk, and various facilities for meetings, business & banquets. Some of the upper floor rooms have views westwards towards the Sierra Nevada mountains, which have many attractions including Lassen Volcanic National Park, 65 miles from the hotel.

The Comfort Inn is a two floor, interior corridor property on the southeast edge of Susanville, within sight of undeveloped countryside. The main shopping center in town (Sierra Mall) is just opposite, including Safeway, Walmart and a selection of restaurants. The hotel is shielded by a line of trees at the rear, location of the outdoor pool, and has a good-sized parking lot at the front; inside, amenities are a fitness center, business center, meeting room and breakfast dining room. Pets are welcome.

Exterior corridor Super 8 Susanville enjoys a quiet location along a side street just east of Hwy 36 next to Lassen County Fairgrounds and within walking distance of shopping and dining. Rooms are basic but comfortable, contain a microwave & refrigerator, and have views over the parking lot, which has an outdoor pool at one side. Free continental breakfast and free wi-fi are the two main amenities.
