Reached by a 5 mile trail starting at Glen Alpine near Fallen Leaf Lake, Lake Aloha is one of the most beautiful places in the Sierra Nevada. This panorama is from a small island along the east shore, which gives a good view up and down the lake, and across to the snow covered peaks of the Crystal Range.
