This view is from the top of a ridge a short distance below the summit of Teutonia Peak, reached by an easy trail starting from Cima Road. The broad slopes of Cima Dome are just visible to the southwest, with Shadow Valley in the northwest, partly hidden behind a small hill. The land is more open to the north and east, revealing the Ivanpah Mountains, Kessler Peak, and more distant ranges on the far side of Ivanpah Valley. The panorama is completed by rocky slopes leading to the top of Teutonia Peak, about 200 feet higher.
