This panorama shows some of the colorful sandstone rocks along the Pacific Ocean coastline in Salt Point State Park; most of the area is a smooth terrace, though other parts have eroded into hoodoos and ridges. The surface of some of the rocks forms a delicate and unusual honeycomb structure known as tafoni; one example can be seen on the east side (inland).
