This view is from the top of one of the smooth, yellow sandstone mounds along the White Domes Trail, at the north end of the 6 mile scenic drive in Valley of Fire State Park. The nearby rocks show a range of other light colors including pink, orange and grey, though in the distance to the north is the more familiar deep red landscape that characterizes most of the park. The trail runs along the shallow ravine just to the south.
