Comfort Inn Artesia is part of a quiet, lightly developed neighborhood on the west side of town, just north of US 82, one block from a Walmart superstore and several restaurants. The golf course at Artesia Country Club is one block away, while natural attractions in the vicinity include Bottomless Lakes State Park (36 miles) and Carlsbad Caverns National Park (57 miles).
