Best Western Moriarty Inn occupies an east-west facing building close to exit 194 of I-40, two blocks from the western edge of town and the start of the arid grasslands that stretch for 15 miles to the edge of the Manzano and Sandia ranges; half the rooms have good views towards the mountains. The 70 rooms & suites contain a coffee maker, ironing board, microwave, refrigerator and 32" cable TV, while the hotel also offers an indoor pool/whirlpool, covered patio, business services and free hot breakfast bar.

Like most hotels in Moriarty, the 68 room Quality Inn is located along Central Avenue (former Route 66), which runs for 3 miles parallel to interstate 40 between exits 194 and 197, though the closest exit is 196, Howard Cavasos Boulevard; the hotel is 2 blocks south, at the center of town. There are many restaurants nearby, and several convenience stores. Chief amenities are an outdoor heated pool, copy/fax service, free wi-fi and free hot breakfast. Besides the regular accommodation there are several suites available, featuring a microwave, refrigerator, wet bar and two bathrooms.

Super 8 Moriarty offers comfortable, affordable, basic lodging in a compact, interior corridor building on the north side of Route 66, near I-40 exit 194 and one block from at least six restaurants. Complimentary amenities are wi-fi and eight-item continental breakfast. The pet friendly motel is one mile from the Hwy 41 intersection in the town center and 42 miles from Quarai, closest of the three units of Salinas Pueblo Missions National Monument.

Rodeway Inn Moriarty is an affordable, interior corridor, pet friendly motel with very limited facilities, just free wi-fi. The building is surrounded by plenty of parking space, with room for large trucks at the rear, and it is situated along old Route 66 towards the west edge of town, near I-40 exit 194. Several restaurants are within a few minutes walk, and a small market one mile east. The closest larger stores (Walmart and Smith's) are 8 miles west along the interstate.
