Burns Hotels

Burns sits at the edge of the Great Basin Desert in southeast Oregon, at the junction of US 395 and US 20, and it contains one chain hotel, the Days Inn, which has a west central location along the main street, in a mixed residential/commercial neighborhood; there are two restaurants adjacent. The exterior corridor rooms face inwards over the central parking area and the motel's small outdoor pool. Other facilities are free continental breakfast, free entry to a local fitness center, and free internet access. Pets are welcome. South of Burns, highway 205 heads into the empty desert towards many scenic places including Steens Mountain and Alvord Dry Lake.
