The Holiday Inn Express (open late 2018) is part of the Keizer Station shopping center, on the west side of I-5 at the Chemawa Road exit, and so within walking distance of a good selection of restaurants and stores. This is a semi-rural location on the edge of town, five miles north of downtown Salem. Free hot breakfast buffet is prepared each morning. The 80 room, four storey hotel provides the expected amenities, of free wi-fi, business/fitness centers, meeting space and an indoor pool/hot tub.

The surroundings are peaceful and mostly residential, with several city parks nearby, and a wooded stream, and guests are also close (1.6 miles) to the many retail and dining outlets at Keizer Station Shopping Center, beside Interstate 5. Rooms are on four floors, enclosed by a large parking lot, and some have one or more of a sofa bed, whirlpool bath, refrigerator and microwave. The building also includes several meeting rooms, catering for events of up to 100 people. Hot breakfast is complimentary. Pets are welcome.
