Free wi-fi, coin-operated laundry, an exercise room and a business center are the rather limited amenities of Quality Inn Umatilla, plus an adjacent restaurant/bar. The interior corridor property has a pleasant location overlooking Big River Golf Course in a residential district on the east side of town, just half a mile from Lake Wallula on the Columbia River. The town center where most of the area facilities are found is 3 miles west, on the far side of Interstate 82. Many of the guest rooms enjoy golf course views; all have a coffee maker, refrigerator & microwave, and some contain an executive desk.

The Econo Lodge is a simple, budget-priced, two story property along 6th Street just east of downtown Umatilla, a short walk from a shoreline park along the Columbia River. There are several bars, restaurants and small shops in the vicinity. The motel provides free wi-fi and free coffee, plus a refrigerator/microwave in all guest rooms; there are no other amenities.
