The Best Western hotel in Bowie opened summer 2009, built in the countryside on the south edge of town alongside US 287 (at the Hwy 59 exit) - 65 miles from Fort Worth and 48 miles from Wichita Falls. The three floor hotel has a elegant, brick-lined facade, and contains 70 rooms & suites, all equipped with microwave, full size refrigerator, free internet access, and particularly comfortable bedding. Free hot breakfast is prepared each morning and there are a couple of restaurants nearby though most are a mile or two away in Bowie town center. Also available at the Best Western are an indoor pool, hot tub, exercise room, laundry, business center and meeting/event facilities.
