The Best Western hotel in Burnet has a countryside setting along the western approach to town along Buchanan Drive (TX 29, the route to Llano & Lake Buchanan in the west, and Georgetown on I-35 to the east). Burnet is close to several Texas Hill Country state parks including Pedernales Falls, Enchanted Rock, Colorado Bend, Longhorn Cavern and Inks Lake. The hotel serves free continental breakfast and is opposite the Riverwalk Cafe (a buffet restaurant) for other dining. It also offers free wi-fi, a seasonal outdoor pool and a business center.

One of only two major hotels in Burnet, known as the Bluebonnet capital of Texas, the 75 room Comfort Inn is located at the southwest edge of town and the west side of US 281, on a bushy hillside overlooking Hamilton Creek. The hotel has an outdoor pool at the front and a good sized parking area beyond; inside, facilities are a fitness center, a dining area for the free full breakfast, and a 3,500 sq ft meeting room. The nearest restaurants are four blocks north along the main road.
