Dalhart Hotels

July 2022 saw the opening of the Hampton Inn hotel in Dalhart, a modern, well-equipped Hilton property offering the usual amenities - business & fitness centers, a meeting room, a swimming pool (indoor) and a dining room where the daily free hot breakfast is served. Accommodations include a selection of studio suites with sofa bed; all rooms have a refrigerator & microwave. The hotel, like several others, is situated along Chicago Street (US 385), a little way northeast of the city center.

Unlike other hotels in Dalhart, all in the city center, the Holiday Inn Express has a rural setting along the southeastern approach route, US 87/385; guest rooms have views of flat farmland in all directions, and apart from one nearby restaurant, all facilities are between 2 and 4 miles away, in the downtown area. The 85 room/suite hotel offers amenities of a 24 hour business center, an indoor pool and a fitness center. Complimentary hot breakfast buffet is prepared each morning.

Dalhart is the most northwesterly town in Texas and has a fair selection of hotels and motels. About the most central is Best Western Nursanickel Motel along Scott Street, next to the intersection of US 54, US 87/385 and Hwy 297, and also quite close to the local railway junction. The 55 room, 2 floor, exterior corridor, pet friendly motel has an outdoor pool, hot tub, business center and meeting space for up to 25 people. Free breakfast is provided each morning, including a few hot items. Nearby are a few gas stations and restaurants.

Dalhart's Days Inn motel sits a little way north of the city center between US 54 and a railway line, within walking distance of a good selection of restaurants, to the south. The motel has two floors, interior corridors and 43 guest rooms, all equipped with microwaves and refrigerators. Wi-fi and hot breakfast are both complimentary; other amenities are an indoor pool, hot tub, outdoor picnic area, fitness center, business center and guest laundry.

Guest rooms at Econo Lodge Dalhart are contained within an old-style two story building, and face east, looking across the parking lot to the US 54/US 385 junction - the exterior corridor property has a central location in the city, within walking distance of a few restaurants and small shops. A coffee maker, microwave and refrigerator are installed in all accommodations. The only general facilities are free wi-fi, complimentary breakfast (continental) and coin-operated laundry. Pets are welcome.
