The newly constructed (2013) Wingate by Wyndham Seminole is situated near the west edge of town along US 62/180 from Hobbs, next to a gas station and backing on to a residential area. There are several nearby restaurants; also within walking distance is Memorial Hospital. The hotel is relatively large, with four floors and 88 rooms, all featuring a coffee maker, work desk, microwave & refrigerator, and including several suites with sofa bed. Free hot breakfast is provided. Meetings facilities are good, with a total of 3,000 sq ft of event space, largest capacity 175 people. Leisure facilities are an indoor pool, whirlpool and fitness center.

The 45 room Best Western was the first chain hotel to open in Seminole, a small town in the middle of the oil & gas fields of west Texas, along US 62 between Lubbock and Hobbs, and it has a central location on Main Street, surrounded by shops, restaurants, bars and other businesses. Hotel highlights are the free breakfast which includes a selection of hot items, the patio/sun deck with bbq grills, and the 24 hour fitness & business centers. It also offers a convenience store, fitness center, indoor pool and coin-operated laundry. All guest rooms contain a microwave and refrigerator; there are also several suites with kitchenette facilities.
