The Holiday Inn Express hotel in Zapata, TX, is situated south side of town along highway 83, right on the shoreline of Falcon Lake. The center of Zapata is 2 miles north on US 83, and Falcon Lake Estates is half a mile to the south. The hotel has 70 rooms & suites, the latter containing a microwave/refrigerator; those on the east side have the best views as they are just 100 feet from the water's edge. The outdoor pool is also on the east side, even closer to the shore. Wi-fi and hot breakfast buffet are complimentary, while other facilities include a fitness center, business center and meeting/event space.
