This view is from a small summit at the top of Mummy Cliff, just off the Chimney Rock Trail - near the west edge of Capitol Reef National Park. UT 12 runs by below, past the turn off for Panorama Point and the dirt road to Sulphur Creek Goosenecks Overlook, then crossing Whisky Flat and heading further east towards Fruita and the park visitor center. The snow- and cloud-covered mountains of the Aquarius Plateau are visible to the southwest, while to the north are tall cliffs of Wingate sandstone, marking the edge of Meeks Mesa.
