Echo Pass is a gap in the Echo Peaks, near the north end of the long Echo Cliffs in north Arizona, reachable by a disused
trail starting along US 89 in the Navajo Reservation. To the east, the terrain is a mix of red sandstone ridges and ravines, while to the west the land falls away steeply to the plateau enclosing Marble Canyon along the Colorado River, bordered by the Vermilion Cliffs on one side and the Echo Peaks on the other.
