The view from atop a sandstone outcrop (West Canyon Overlook) along the
Lava Flow Trail, near the upper end of Snow Canyon State Park. Initially looking south, towards the entrance to the canyon, the view clockwise includes eroded red cliffs in the west, in front of which runs the West Canyon Trail, red and white banded cliffs that form the head of the valley to the north, and patches of lava and more red rocks in the east.
