The view from a small hill just west of Jackass Pass, on the south rim of Cirque of the Towers in the Wind River Range, which is reached by an 8.5 mile hike from the Big Sandy Trailhead. Lonesome Lake lies 700 feet below, at the head of the North Popo Agie River, enclosed on three sides by a line of 12,000 foot peaks.
