Porcelain Basin is the most active and least vegetated part of Norris Geyser Basin in Yellowstone National Park, and it may be viewed close up by a 0.75 boardwalk loop trail. This panorama is taken along the section between Ledge Geyser (the group of steaming vents on the hillside) and Whirligig Geyser, where the path crosses a flat, acidic plain containing many other pools and geysers, though most are quite far away.
