Buellton Hotels

The largest hotel in Buellton, CA, is the Marriott Santa Ynez Valley - an upscale, 149 room property built alongside busy US 101 near the town center, though east-facing rooms have peaceful views over hills and farmland. The hotel makes a good base from which to explore the surrounding Santa Barbara wine country, and it has many facilities, headed by three dining outlets including the Starting Gate American restaurant, offering meals all-day either indoors or on the patio. Also available are an outdoor pool/hot tub, fitness center, tennis court, free internet access, a business center and 12,000 sq ft of event space.

The newest hotel in Buellton is the Hampton Inn, open spring 2017, built in quiet, rural surroundings on the east side of US 101, half a mile from the town center and four miles from Solvang. All guest rooms are equipped with a 50 inch TV, refrigerator and microwave, and many have fine views of the surrounding mountains. Leisure amenities are a ball court, fitness center, hot tub and outdoor pool. Free hot breakfast is prepared each morning, and a take-out version is also available (Monday to Friday). There is one restaurant next door and several others within walking distance. The hotel grounds include several fire pits.

Quality Inn Buellton is a medium sized (60 room), 2 floor, roadside motel located along Avenue of Flags at the north end of Buellton, and next to the Damasa Road exit of Highway 101. Lodging is basic but comfortable, and rather cheaper than most nearby properties, especially those 3 miles east in the more well known town of Solvang. Guest laundry, free continental breakfast and free newspapers are some of the limited amenities.
