Lompoc Hotels

Lompoc's largest hotel is the Embassy Suites, an elegant, Spanish-style building where the 155 rooms are arranged around two central courtyard gardens, one containing the swimming pool. The hotel is adjacent to the main shopping area in Lompoc along Hwy 1, and is close to many restaurants, though both hot breakfast and a nightly reception are provided free, each day. The all suite accommodations include a refrigerator, microwave, sofa bed, executive desk, two TVs and separate sleeping/living areas. The on-site meetings facility caters for events of up to 100 people. Nearby locations include Vandenberg AFB (8 miles), Mission La Purisima (3.5 miles) and the Pacific Ocean at Jalama beach (20 miles).

Accommodations at the new (summer 2017) Hilton Garden Inn Lompoc include a selection of suites with separate living/sleeping areas and a sofa bed. The hotel is part of a line of shops, restaurants and other businesses along Route 1, the Cabrillo Highway, towards the north side of town - half a mile from the local airport and the Santa Ynez River. The onsite restaurant/bar is open for breakfast, lunch & dinner, and provides evening room service, while a 24 hour market sells drinks, snacks and sundries. The usual leisure amenities of a pool (outdoor), hot tub and fitness center are available, plus meeting space for up to 300 guests.

Holiday Inn Express Lompoc is located near the north edge of town along H Street (Highway 1), close to farmland of the Santa Ynez River valley though also next to the local airport and at the center of most of the large stores in Lompoc, at the junction with Central Avenue. The hotel is a medium-sized building of 90 rooms, with an attractive frontage featuring an outdoor pool surrounded by lawns and tropical plants; inside, the rooms have all the expected amenities plus a microwave & refrigerator. The standard Holiday Inn Express free hot breakfast buffet is provided, while for dinner there are several fast food places directly opposite.
