The Pruneyard Plaza hotel adjoins an upscale shopping/dining complex on the east side of Hwy 17, and despite the generally suburban surroundings is also just a short walk from a pleasant hiking trail along Los Gatos Creek. Exterior features include a secluded courtyard garden, outdoor pool/spa and Mediterranean-style patio with firepit, while inside are a fitness center, business center, meeting space. Complimentary continental breakfast is provided. All rooms contain a refrigerator and coffee maker; for more amenities there are several penthouse suites which have a hot tub bath a balcony with views of the pool.

The third Marriott hotel in Campbell, CA, opened its doors early 2010, providing high quality accommodation with a good range of amenities for the business or leisure traveler. The mid range Marriott long stay brand is represented in Campbell/south San Jose by the 95 room TownePlace Suites, built alongside Highway 17 in a pleasant location bordered on the west side by a wooded stream. The all-suite property offers rooms in three configurations (two bed, one bed, studio), all with a full kitchen, sofa bed and modern accessories like granite work surfaces. The main amenities are free continental breakfast, a convenience store, hot tub, exercise room and guest laundry. On the far side of the freeway (0.4 miles), The Pruneyard Center has many shopping, dining and entertainment outlets.
