Coronado Hotels

Shore House at The Del is a part of the Hotel del Coronado complex, right on the beachfront - along Orange Avenue, just across from the north end of Glorietta Bay. This is a residential property, all apartments with open vernadas overlooking the ocean, the bay or other parts of the resort. Guests have access to all of the resort's facilities, including pools, the spa and the restaurants. Accommodations have one, two or three bedrooms.

The Victorian-style Hotel del Coronado has been welcoming guests ever since its opening in 1888; it has a spectacular setting on the oceanfront, along Orange Avenue, the grounds extending for a quarter of a mile along the beach, and also within walking distance of Coronado Stair Park, the marina, and various restaurants. There are seven dining outlets on the premises, all with ocean views, together with numerous other facilities including a full service spa and over 250,000 square feet of indoor/outdoor function space.

The upscale, full service Marriott Coronado Island Resort has a beautiful setting right on the waterfront on the east side of the island, many of the 300 rooms & suites rooms having sweeping views across the bay to downtown San Diego, one mile north. The bright, modern decor, the attentive staff and the numerous facilities help create a very relaxing ambience; leisure amenities include a large outdoor pool surrounded by tropical gardens overlooking the water, two smaller pools, hot tubs, tennis courts, a fitness center and the Spa Coronado, offering a dozen different treatments. The Marriott also has an all-day restaurant, a lounge/bar, and 15 rooms for meetings, banquets & weddings.

Towards the east side of the small but densely populated residential town of Coronado, CA, between San Diego Bay and the Pacific Ocean, the Best Western Suites Hotel Coronado Island offers clean, comfortable but relatively cheap accommodation for those visiting the town and its beaches, the nearby Naval Air Station or downtown San Diego, which is 3 miles away via the Coronado Bay Bridge. The inn is situated along palm tree-lined Ocean Avenue, the main road through town - close to a few shops and restaurants though most are between 0.5 and 1 mile away on Ocean Boulevard. Guests can take advantage of the (small) outdoor heated pool, free hot breakfast, spa and guest laundry. All 63 rooms & suites contain a microwave and refrigerator.
