The only major hotel in Danville, east of Oakland in the San Ramon Valley, is the Best Western Danville Sycamore Inn - an older-style, 2 floor building but updated and modern, with clean rooms (62 of them) and friendly staff. The inn is adjacent to the 680 Freeway (Sycamore Valley Rd exit), next to a Denny's restaurant and walking distance from several shops, though most of the surroundings are residential and hilly. The expected amenities include free continental breakfast, a (small) outdoor pool, free parking and guest laundry.
