The best hotel in the expanding town of El Dorado Hills is undoubtedly the Holiday Inn Express, at 4360 Town Center Boulevard - just south of US 50 (the Latrobe Rd exit) in the middle of a modern shopping complex though overlooking a small lake and with distant views east towards the Sierra Nevada foothills. Folsom Lake is 5 miles north, and the center of Sacramento 25 miles west. Also in the adjacent center is a 14 screen movie theater and several restaurants.
