The Staybridge Suites is the top choice for extended stay/all suite accommodation in Rocklin, offering 98 one or two-bed suites that all contain a fully equipped kitchen and are very well decorated. The hotel has all the expected facilities for business (free internet access, meeting rooms, business center) and leisure (pool, hot tub, fitness center, bbq grills). There are numerous shops and restaurants nearby including the many stores at Galleria at Roseville and the Creekside Shopping Center. An outdoor pool & hot tub, free hot breakfast buffet, and basic facilities for business & meetings are the other main amenities. Also available are several two-room suites, and rooms with a whirlpool bath. The hotel opened fall 2014.

Along the northern I-80 frontage road, though shielded behind a line of trees, the SureStay Plus is a comfortable, mid range hotel from the Best Western group, notable for its well-presented, landscaped grounds, with floral gardens and an outdoor pool at the front, and more shady trees along the rear. There are several city parks in the vicinity, and Sierra College is just down the street. The hotel provides free wi-fi and free full breakfast. All guest accommodations are equipped with a microwave and a refrigerator.

With 124 rooms (all containing refrigerator/microwave), Comfort Inn Rocklin is quite a large hotel, and it has a clean, modern appearance, accommodating guests in a three story, tree-lined building close to I-80 through shielded from it by a neighboring business. A good selection of restaurants and shops can be found nearby, either side of the Rocklin Road exit of the interstate. The closest restaurant is Denny's, sharing the parking lot. Sierra College is one mile east, and Westfield Galleria Mall 4 miles south. Amenities at the Comfort Inn include free hot breakfast, a business center, three meeting rooms and an outdoor pool. A few guest rooms contain a hot tub bath.

Most guest rooms at Days Inn Rocklin face north, overlooking the parking lot and outdoor pool/hot tub. All feature a microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker and work desk; also available are several suites containing a hot tub bath and a wet bar. The surroundings are a mixture of business premises and private homes, on the west side of I-80, 12 miles from Auburn and 20 miles from the center of Sacramento. Free deluxe continental breakfast is prepared each morning, including eggs and waffles. Events of up to 50 people can be accommodated in the onsite meeting room. There are many restaurants half a mile south, at the Rocklin Road exit of the interstate.
