Besides all the usual business and leisure facilities, the westdrift Manhattan Beach - a member of Marriott Hotels' Autograph Collection of upscale properties - boasts its own nine hole golf course; part of a beautiful, 26 acre site in a quiet, mostly residential neighborhood on the north side of town, 2 miles from the Pacific Ocean. Los Angeles Airport is also nearby (4 miles), though the hotel does not operate a free shuttle. The 393 rooms & suites are large, comfortable and fully renovated in 2018; half have golf course views, and the others look north towards the main road past the hotel (Rosecrans Avenue), along which are several nearby restaurants. The hotel has two restaurants on site, plus a lounge/bar, outdoor pool & hot tub, fitness center, concierge level, and 35,000 square feet of meeting space.

The Belamar Hotel has a prominent location in Manhattan Beach, at the intersection of Rosecrans Avenue and the Pacific Coast Highway, at the edge of a residential neighborhood, also adjacent to the start of the Veterans Parkway, a hike/bike trail that follows an old railway line. Guests are within walking distance of the shops and restaurants at Manhattan Village, and just 1.5 miles from the nearest beach. The palm tree-lined, three storey hotel features an outdoor pool, onsite restaurant, business center and meeting space.

Marriott's Residence Inn Manhattan Beach has the older design for this brand, with the 176 townhouse suites divided into several blocks arranged around courtyards, tree-lined walkways and the parking lot. The larger penthouse suites are on 2 levels, with two bedrooms above the living area, which for all rooms includes a full kitchen. Guests benefit from a number of complimentary amenities - hot breakfast, evening light dinner (Mon-Wed), parking, internet access and a grocery shopping service; the nearest supermarket (Ralphs) is half a mile north. There are various other shops and restaurants close by along the main road (Sepulveda Boulevard, the Pacific Coast Highway), while the nearest beach is 1.5 miles west, and LAX is 4 miles north. For relaxation, the Residence Inn has a pool, hot tub, fitness center and sports court.

The three story Best Western Plus in Manhattan Beach is centered on a courtyard garden filled with palms and other tropical plants, providing a quiet respite from the sometimes busy surroundings; the hotel is situated on the west side of the Pacific Coast Highway, opposite a small shopping center. The nearest beach, and the city center, are 1.2 miles away, while the adjacent community of Redondo Beach is 3 miles south. Accommodations at the hotel are studio and one bedroom suites, all with a sofa bed and wet bar, and some with a larger kitchenette. The hotel has a fitness center though no pool. Also available are a business center, guest laundry and two meeting rooms. Free hot breakfast is provided, plus free evening receptions Monday to Thursday.
