Oroville Hotels

Open summer 2024, the Hampton Inn is the first new hotel in Oroville for many years. Like most other lodging in town it is situated along the Hwy 70 corridor, a few blocks west of the town center, within walking distance of dining and shopping. The location is relatively quiet, set back a little from the access road. Parkland along the Feather River is also close by, on the far side of the freeway. The hotel features include event space, a fitness center, an indoor pool, and daily free hot breakfast.

Oroville's Holiday Inn Express is built in a quiet area close to the edge of the countryside half a mile from Hwy 70 and the Feather River, and one mile from the main shopping area in town, further east along Oroville Dam Boulevard. The hotel provides good customer service and clean, modern rooms at reasonable rates, together with amenities of free hot breakfast, an indoor pool/whirlpool, free internet access, a 24 hour business center and one meeting room. All 66 rooms & suites contain a refrigerator, microwave, sofa bed and executive desk.

With 35 rooms, Days Inn Oroville is one of the smaller motels around, but it has a pleasant, quiet location at the edge of a residential area, most rooms looking south across an empty field. Facilities are free continental breakfast, free wi-fi and an outdoor pool, at the front of the property next to the access road. One block south is a shopping center with Sears and a couple of restaurants, plus a Wal-Mart store just beyond. Just over half a mile away, on the far side of Hwy 70, Riverbend Park features picnic areas and trails along the wooded banks of the Feather River.

Super 8 Oroville occupies a three story, exterior corridor building situated on the west side of Oroville along Feather River Road, a street with several other motels and restaurants, one of which is right next door. CA 70 is a block west, and the river runs just beyond. This is a quiet part of town; the majority of the hotel's 54 rooms overlook grassy fields beside the highway, and most of the nearby buildings are residential. Lake Oroville is 7 miles east, in the foothills of the northern Sierra Nevada mountains. The hotel offers free breakfast, an outdoor pool, sauna, whirlpool and exercise room.
