The Wingate hotel in Eagle has an excellent, elevated location on a slope on the north side of I-70, exit 147, at the end of a short street, with views of wooded hills in all directions, and high mountains in the distance. The town center is half a mile south, on the south bank of the Eagle River. Free breakfast, an indoor pool/hot tub and guest laundry are the main amenities. Several restaurants are within walking distance.

Accommodations at the pet friendly GreenTree Inn Extended Stay Eagle include studio suites and two-bed suites, catering to the extended stay traveler or guests needing extra space and facilities. The hotel is easily accessed from I-70 which runs past to the north, though is located on a quieter side street, within walking distance of a few shops and restaurants. Rooms are in three linked, interior corridor blocks, facing the central parking lot. Wi-fi and hot breakfast buffet are complimentary. Other amenities are fitness & business centers, meeting space and a convenience store.

The Best Western Lodge in Eagle, CO, features a full heath club and spa, together with the more usual amenities of a pool (outdoor), complimentary hot breakfast, 1,837 sq ft of event space, and a free shuttle to Vail airport. Access is from I-70 - the Best Western is right next to exit 147, close to shops, restaurants and several other hotels; the town center is half a mile south, on the far side of the Eagle River.

Like most hotels in Eagle, Quality Inn Vail Valley is found half a mile north of the town center next to interstate 70 - in a quiet location along Market Street, next to exit 147. Eagle is half way between Glenwood Springs and Vail, and provides significantly cheaper lodging that the more expensive resorts further east. The Quality Inn has 60 clean rooms on three floors, looking out over the Eagle River valley towards the high mountains to the south. Some rooms have microwave/refrigerator, and others contain a whirlpool bath. Also available are free continental breakfast, an indoor heated pool, hot tub and free shuttle to Vail Valley airport.
