The 164 room/suite Elizabeth Hotel, part of Marriott's Autograph Collection of prestigious, luxury properties, opened late 2017, built on the north side of the city center just off Mountain Avenue, close to the Cache la Poudre River - the main component of the Firehouse Alley development that also includes retail space and dining outlets. Distinctive features include locally sourced artwork and specially composed music, which combine to create a peaceful ambience. The hotel has a rooftop lounge, a lobby bar, a restaurant, a fitness center (though no pool) and 3,850 square feet of indoor/outdoor event space.

With 6 floors, 229 rooms and over 16,000 sq ft of meeting space, Marriott Fort Collins is one of the largest hotels in town, and amongst the most luxurious. All the rooms are large, comfortable, decorated in a bright, modern style, and equipped with upscale amenities. The on site restaurant features regional dishes and is open for breakfast, lunch, dinner & room service, while the Falls Bar serves food and drinks in a cozy, friendly setting. Other facilities include a large fireplace lobby, an indoor/outdoor swimming pool, a whirlpool, fitness center, gift shop, concierge level, and 16 meeting rooms - the largest can seat up to 700. The Marriott is situated next to Foothills Fashion Mall just off College Avenue, 3 miles south of the center of Fort Collins.

Most rooms at Hilton Fort Collins have long distance views across the flat surroundings to the mountains in the west, since the hotel rises nine stories, higher than all nearby buildings. This is one of the more central hotels in the city, located along Prospect Road a mile south of downtown and one block from Colorado State University. The full service amenities include an all-day restaurant/bar (Spring Creek Grill), on the floor of the atrium lobby; there is also a coffee shop, selling drinks & snacks. The Courtyard hotel in Fort Collins has 112 rooms, a 24 hour convenience store, an outdoor pool, hot tub, fitness center and a cafe, open for breakfast only (free with certain room rates). The hotel is centered on an landscaped courtyard garden, providing a retreat from the busy surroundings - nearby Harmony Road runs through a neighborhood with many restaurants and shops, half way between I-25 and the town center (both are about 3 miles away). Just across the street from another Marriott hotel (the Courtyard) stands the extended stay, all suite Residence Inn Fort Collins. The place is relatively new, very clean, well managed, quiet, and has quite a scenic location facing a small artificial lake, around which are mature trees and several footpaths. There are 113 suites on offer; all have separate areas for living/sleeping, plus a fully equipped kitchen. Many restaurants line the nearby main street (Harmony Road), though both free hot breakfast and free weekday evening light dinner are served at the hotel. Parking and high speed internet access are also free; other services include an indoor pool, whirlpool, fitness center, guest laundry.

The Homewood Suites is a part of the main hotel area in Fort Collins, southeast of the city center along Harmony Road, close to several large shopping centers. The property is quite new (open 2007) and enjoys a good reputation as one of the top business/extended stay hotels in town on account of the elegant, well maintained suites, the especially helpful staff, the complimentary amenities (hot breakfast, Mon-Thu evening receptions, wi-fi, grocery shopping service and local area shuttle), and the convenient location close to restaurants & supermarkets. All the rooms (studio, one bed or two bed) feature a full kitchen and separate sleeping/living areas. The hotel also offers an indoor pool/hot tub, sports court, fitness center, business center, a boardroom and and a meeting room that accommodates 60 people.

Hilton Garden Inn Fort Collins features an on-site restaurant (Garden Grille) serving breakfast, lunch and dinner, plus room service, and there are many more dining choices a short walk away; the hotel is located in a commercial area along Harmony Road, opposite a shopping center with several large stores including Lowe's, Staples, Target and Toys R Us. Leisure amenities are the expected pool (indoor), fitness center and hot tub. The function space can cater for events of up to 200 people. Drinks, snacks and cookable meals (prepared using the microwaves in each guest room) can be purchased from the Pavilion Pantry convenience store.

Hampton Inn Fort Collins is one of the smaller properties of this popular brand, occupying a relatively old building on the south side of Harmony Road, 3 miles west of I-25 (exit 265) and 5 miles south of the city center. There are many restaurants nearby, and a selection of shops including Safeway supermarket. The inn provides free hot breakfast each morning, plus a take-out version for guests leaving early or in a hurry. Accommodations comprise 75 rooms, one or two bed, all containing microwave/refrigerator and some with a sofa bed. Other facilities are a fitness center, business center, indoor pool and meeting space for up to 75 guests.

The SpringHill Suites has a southeasterly location in Fort Collins, near Windsor and Loveland - at the Crossroads Blvd exit of I-25, a short walk from the Budweiser Events Center. Also in the vicinity are Belmont Ridge, Highland Meadows Golf Course and the Walmart distribution center. Accommodations comprise 97 studio suites, equipped with microwave, refrigerator and living area, while the hotel has a fitness center, outdoor pool, business center, meeting room and a 24 hour convenience store. Daily hot breakfast is complimentary.

Clarion Inn Fort Collins shares a large site with another Choice Hotels property (Comfort Inn), beside I-25 exit 269 (Mulberry Avenue), 4 miles east of the city center. The spacious accommodations are equipped with one or more of a work desk, sofa bed, refrigerator and microwave. Free hot breakfast is provided, and there are four adjacent restaurants. Leisure facilities are an indoor hot tub, fitness center and pool. Wi-fi is also complimentary. The hotel has a business center and conference space.

Cambria Suites Fort Collins is an upscale, full service, all suite hotel with many high quality amenities. It has a restaurant/bar ('Reflect'), serving breakfast & dinner (room service available), a coffee bar in the two-story lobby, and a convenience store, open 24 hours. The 90 suites are decorated in a bright, modern style and contain a microwave & refrigerator. Other facilities include a fully featured fitness center, resort-style pool/whirlpool, sun deck and 1,000 sq ft of meeting space. The hotel has mixed residential/rural surroundings, along Harmony Road right at the southeast edge of Fort Collins, 1.5 miles from I-25 (exit 265).

In the middle of the leafy, upscale suburbs towards the south side of Fort Collins, the Holiday Inn Express has a deserved reputation for extra comfortable beds, large & well furnished rooms, and helpful staff. There are 89 rooms, including kitchenette suites, and facilities of an indoor pool, fitness center, hot tub and one meeting room. Internet access and continental breakfast are both free; for other meals the closest restaurants (and a shopping center) are one block west along the main road (Harmony St; Hwy 68), at its junction with Lemay Avenue. Old Town Fort Collins and Colorado State University are 5 miles north, while I-25 is 3.5 miles east.

Open early 2015, the Candlewood Suites is a modern addition to the all-suite/long stay accommodation choices in Fort Collins. The hotel is part of an extensive commercial and business district on the south side of the city, close to US 287, though accessed by a quieter side street. There are many shops and restaurants within walking distance, and several city parks. All accommodations feature a full kitchen; food for cooking can be purchased from Albertson's supermarket, a few blocks north. Complimentary amenities include wi-fi and guest laundry.

Best Western Kiva Inn is one of several hotels on the main approach to Fort Collins from the east - Mulberry Street (Hwy 14), which links with exit 269 of I-25. The surroundings are a mixture of small shops, restaurants and private residences, with Cache la Poudre River flowing by just to the south, and the Link-N-Greens Golf Course a few blocks west. There are 62 rooms available (all with refrigerator, freezer & microwave), and the hotel provides good quality, mid range, reasonably priced accommodation. As expected for this class of hotel, amenities comprise free continental breakfast, an exercise room, outdoor pool and hot tub.

Adjacent to Colorado State University (east side), the Best Western University Inn sits along the main north-south road through Fort Collins (US 287; College Avenue), less than a mile from the center of the Old Town district at the junction with Mountain Avenue. The pet friendly inn has a relatively quiet, tree-lined location, and it offers 72 clean, recently redecorated rooms, free deluxe continental breakfast, an indoor pool & hot tub, an exercise room and a limited free local area shuttle. On account of its good customer service, the University Inn has received the Best Western Director's Award several times.

The first Fairfield Inn hotel in Fort Collins opened late 2018, located in a newly developed area on the south side of Harmony Road, one mile west of Interstate 25; within walking distance of several corporate offices including Intel and Hewlett-Packard. The many shops and restaurants at Front Range Village are a short drive west, while the city center is 7 miles northwest. The 82 room/suite property provides all the usual amenities of this brand: a meeting room (450 square feet), business/fitness centers, a pool (indoor), guest laundry and free hot breakfast.

Because of the high standard of cleanliness throughout the property, the above average (free) hot breakfast, the helpful staff and convenient location, Comfort Inn Fort Collins is generally considered the best mid range hotel in town. The inn is part of a small group of hotels around the main Fort Collins I-25 exit (269; Mulberrry Street), close to various shops and restaurants, and 4 miles east of the city center. There are 62 rooms available, all spacious and well maintained, and including several suites containing microwave, refrigerator & extra sofa bed. For leisure the hotel has an exercise room, games room, indoor pool and hot tub.

The Park Inn by Radisson provides the closest lodging to I-25 at the Hwy 14 exit, on the east side of Fort Collins, located along the NW frontage road within sight of farmland to the north. Some of the guest rooms overlook a small garden area with outdoor pool. Select accommodations feature a microwave and refrigerator. Free continental breakfast and coin-operated laundry are the other main amenities. The motel has an old-style layout, with two floors accessed by exterior corridors. There is one restaurant adjacent.

The Comfort Suites is a south central Fort Collins hotel, located near to many shopping and dining outlets just off busy Harmony Drive, 5 miles from the city center. The building is quite new and kept very clean, and has above average quality amenities - free deluxe continental breakfast is served, the 66 rooms are larger than usual and contain microwave & refrigerator, and the staff are particularly efficient. Other facilities at this pet friendly, smoke free hotel include an indoor pool, indoor hot tub, and one meeting room.

One of several well reviewed Choice Hotels properties in Fort Collins, the Quality Inn & Suites is a handsome three story building on the south side of town, one block from College Avenue along a side road (Mason Street) near many shops and restaurants, within 2 miles of such places as Front Range Community College, Arbor Plaza, Warren Lake, Fossil Creek Park and Foothills Fashion Mall. Rates are fairly low but facilities are good: free deluxe continental breakfast, pool & hot tub, exercise room, microwave/refrigerator in each of the 66 rooms, and several two room suites with a whirlpool bath.

The Quality Inn occupies half of a sizeable, exterior corridor building along Mulberry Street, beside I-25, at the northernmost of the two main exits serving the city. Complimentary amenities are wi-fi, airport transportation and breakfast, which includes a few hot items. The comples also contains a meeting room, guest laundry facility and an an indoor pool/hot tub. Downtown Fort Collins is 4 miles due west.

The three floor, interior corridor Baymont Inn sits along the main approach to Fort Collins from the east (Mulberry Street, Hwy 14), right next to the I-25 intersection. The place is quite small (62 rooms), but clean, comfortable and affordable, with free breakfast and free wi-fi the main amenities. Some guest rooms have a microwave and refrigerator. There are many restaurants nearby, around the interstate exit.

There are three restaurants near Days Inn Fort Collins, and a few other businesses, but otherwise the surroundings are quite lightly developed, with a residential estate on the south side of the main road, Hwy 14, and farmland to the north. Hotels hereabouts are popular more with visitors traveling on Interstate 25 rather than people visiting the city, the center of which lies 4 miles west. The pet friendly motel has two interior corridor floors and 79 rooms, and it offers a small range of amenities: free wi-fi, coin-operated laundry, free continental breakfast and a guest-use computer.

Although located at the busy intersection of Hwy 14 and I-25, the Super 8 has a relatively quiet location along a side street, 400 feet from the main road, bordering open fields to the west. Nearby are a typical collection of restaurants, gas stations and small shops. The hotel has a hot tub, though no pool; also available are meeting space, a fitness center and free eight-item continental breakfast. The center of Fort Collins is 4.5 miles west.
