The 75 room/suite Holiday Inn Express has a northerly location in Lamar along Main Street, a short walk from the Arkasnas River and a few minutes drive from shopping & dining in the downtown area. Accommodations are modern and well equipped, featuring a coffee maker, microwave, refrigerator, work desk and free internet access; the suites have a sofa bed and separate living area. Guests are treated to free continental breakfast each morning, including a selection of hot items. Lamar's two story, interior corridor Quality Inn hotel sits along Main Street at the north edge of town, near to several other lodges, a gas station, and a small selection of shops & restaurants, though most facilities in town are between 1 and 2 miles south. Rates are reasonable, reflecting the limited amenities, of a fitness center, guest laundry, free hot breakfast and free internet access, but the staff are friendly and the rooms are nice and clean.
