The Quality Inn occupies a standard, two floor, interior corridor building, adjacent to a gas station, a casino and a supermarket - on the west side of 1st Street (US 93), a few blocks north of the city center. The motel borders open countryside to the rear, close to the Bitterroot River. Two complimentary amenities are wi-fi and hot breakfast, while the other main facilities are a fitness center, business center and coin-operated laundry. A microwave and refrigerator are installed in all accommodations.

Super 8 Hamilton has a scenic location on the north edge of town, looking west across the Bitterroot River valley to the 8,000 foot mountains beyond. There are two large stores just down the street (Albertson's, K-Mart), and a few restaurants one block north; most other facilities in town are between 0.5 and 2 miles south, along the main road (US 93). The Super 8 charges low rates and offers 40 bright, clean rooms, plus amenities of free continental breakfast, free wi-fi and basic business services.
