Silver City Hotels

Most of the 60 rooms and suites at the Holiday Inn Express Silver City look out over forested land, on the east side of town, just south of US 160 - the hotel has a peaceful setting along Superior Street, a spur road off the main highway. The town center is 2 miles west but there are several restaurants and shops within walking distance. By general agreement, this is the best hotel in Silver City owing to the quiet location, the clean and well maintained rooms, the good quality free continental breakfast, and the relatively low rates. For relaxation guests have use of a whirlpool and a small fitness center (no swimming pool); other facilities are laundry, business center and a meeting room.

One of the more central hotels in Silver City, NM, the three story, interior corridor Best Western is nevertheless partly surrounded by undeveloped land, with some of the 62 rooms having long distance views southwards towards desert hills. But there are plenty of shops and restaurants a short walk away, east and west along the main road through town (US 180). Rooms are attractively furnished in a simple, modern style, and all are equipped with microwave and refrigerator. Free hot breakfast is served; for recreation the hotel provides a hot tub, indoor pool and fitness center, plus a relaxing fountain courtyard.

The Comfort Inn hotel in Silver City has a quiet location just east of the town center, on the south side of US 180 at the junction with NM 15; the hotel is set back slightly from the highway and overlooks undeveloped land to the east. The historic district of Silver City is one mile away, and there are many recreational opportunities in the Gila National Forest a few miles north including Gila Cliff Dwellings National Monument. The main amenities of the hotel are an indoor pool and free breakfast bar.
