The ten main badland regions of the San Juan Basin are the Bisti Wilderness, De-Na-Zin Wilderness, Ah-Shi-Sle-Pah Wilderness Study Area, Angel Peak Scenic Area, Lybrook, Ceja Pelon Mesa, Penistaja Mesa, San Jose, Mesa de Cuba and Ojito Wilderness, but there are many other similar places such as Betonnie Tsosie Wash, Burnham, Fossil Forest, Cejita Blanca Mesa and La Lena.
