Below is a selection of the flowering plants of Crater Lake National Park - follow the links for full descriptions. A more complete list of species found in the park is available from the Washington Native Plant Society at www.wnps.org/plant_lists/documents/CraterLake.doc. The park has around 400 species of relatively large and colorful plants; fewer than other NPS mountain preserves in the West owing to its comparatively small size and moderate elevation range.
