Coos Bay Hotels

Like most hotels in Coos Bay, the AAA Three Diamond-rated Best Western Holiday Motel sits along US 101, close to the waterfront - the two story building is on the west side of the road, 400 feet from the bay, part of a long corridor of businesses in the downtown area. There are 83 rooms available, accessed by interior and exterior corridors, some with a variety of extra amenities including a refrigerator, mini bar, hot tub bath, sofa bed and kitchenette. Several family suites offer more space, and have a separate living area. Free full breakfast is served each morning, including a selection of hot items. Leisure facilities are the usual fitness center, hot tub and indoor pool. Coos Bay is close to two different but equally spectacular stretches of the Oregon coastline; Oregon Dunes to the north and Sunset Bay/Cape Arago to the south.

The Edgewater Inn of Coos Bay has a waterfront setting, overlooking Coalbank Slough at the confluence with the larger Isthmus Slough, one mile south of the main bay; half the interior corridor guest rooms have views of the river, the remainder look out across the parking lot to the urban surroundings, which include a supermarket (Safeway) right next door. The inn provides free hot breakfast. An outdoor pool, a business center and meeting space are the other amenities.
