The pet friendly Best Western hotel in Alice is located 2 miles south of the town center along Business 281, in a rural setting. All 41 spacious, refrigerator/microwave-equipped rooms are on the ground floor, and most over look the hotel's landscaped gardens and outdoor pool. There is one restaurant nearby though most other dining choices are 2 miles north in the downtown area. Free continental breakfast is available at the hotel, plus guest laundry and basic business services.

Along US 281 (Johnston Street) a few blocks north of the city center, the Quality Inn is an affordable, welcoming motel with a peaceful setting, partly enclosed by palms and other trees, and set back a little from the highway. Rooms are in two blocks overlooking the central gardens, which include an outdoor pool, picnic area, patio and bbq grills. The free breakfast comes with a few hot items; other meals can be purchased from three restaurants just opposite. The pet friendly motel also has a business center and meeting space.
