Open summer 2019, the 107 room/suite Holiday Inn Express is the first chain hotel in the small west Texas city of Kermit, 44 miles from Odessa in the middle of the Permian Basin, and it has a peaceful location surrounded by flat farmland, on the east side of town near the junction of CR 313 and CR 301. There are two restaurants close by, plus a Flying J Travel Center, and others within 1 and 2 miles away in the downtown area. The main hotel amenities are free hot breakfast, 24 hour business & fitness centers, guest laundry and an outdoor pool.
