The Midland Plaza is one of DoubleTree by Hilton's older Texas properties; a mid rise, city center hotel along Wall Street, adjacent to the convention center and a short walk from many restaurants, leisure attractions and businesses. The on-site restaurants are Le Bistro, serving breakfast & lunch, and continental-style Chez's, open for dinner and evening drinks. Meeting and events are catered for by 7 rooms totaling over 10,000 sq ft of space. There are 253 guest rooms available, including four executive floors with access to a private lounge. Internet access is complimentary. Leisure facilities are a rooftop outdoor pool, situated between the two residential towers, plus a fitness center.

One of four Marriott hotels either side of the Security Bank Ballpark in southwest Midland, the full service, five story Courtyard along Tradewinds Boulevard offers 97 large, elegant guest rooms with amenities of a restaurant/lounge, gift shop, fitness center, whirlpool and business center. West facing rooms look out over undeveloped countryside, though all sites in Midland are within easy reach via the 158 loop road which runs by just to the east. The center of Odessa lies 20 miles southwest.

The Residence Inn by Marriott provides upscale, extended stay accommodation to Midland travelers, offering 131 suites in a beautiful, 4 story building along Deauville Boulevard, a short walk from the Security Bank Ballpark at the southwest edge of town. Facilities in the vicinity include several restaurants and one supermarket. Hilton Garden Inn Midland is part of the expanding group of hotels on the west edge of the city near Security Bank Ballpark, in a quiet neighborhood just off Loop 250, with undeveloped countryside a short distance further west. A free shuttle is operated to Midland Airport, 8 miles away. The Four Points by Sheraton Midland sits along Business 20, the southwestern approach to the city from the International Air & Space Port, by the intersection with Loop 250. The Hampton Inn is part of the large group of hotels and other businesses around the intersection of I-20 and Rankin Highway, 2 miles south of Midland city center; it has a relatively quiet location, set back from the main road, within one block of several restaurants. Permian Basin Petroleum Museum is also within walking distance. A business center and 30 person meeting room are available for those here to work, while recreation amenities are the usual pool (outdoor), hot tub and fitness center. Daily free hot breakfast is provided.

Hampton Inn Midland is well-established hotel along the Loop 250 frontage road on the northwest side of the city, at the edge of a shopping/entertainment with Home Depot, Wal-Mart, Target, a 14 screen movie theater and many restaurants. Rooms face east or west, looking across the spacious parking lot, which has an outdoor pool to the south, well away from the freeway. All 79 rooms (no suites) contain a microwave and refrigerator. The free breakfast comes with a selection of hot items, and is also available in a take out version. The hotel's meeting space can accommodate events of up to 125 guests.

The Home2 Suites is one of many hotels southwest of the Hwy 191/Hwy 250 intersection on the west side of Midland, near the Scharbauer Sports Complex; a business/commercial neighborhood, with sites including Chevron Campus and Oxy Permian, close to the edge of open countryside. The city center is five miles east. All the suites, studio and one bedroom, include a fully-equipped kitchen. The hotel has an outdoor pool, and provides free hot breakfast each morning.

Newly constructed spring 2021, the Home2 Suites is an extended stay property, offering modern, brightly-decorated, pet friendly suites in studio and one bedroom layouts, all including a full kitchen. The hotel is built in a lightly-developed area along Spring Street, just south of the intersection with Loop 250, 3 miles north of Midland city center and half a mile from Midland Airpark. Breakfast buffet and wi-fi are complimentary; also available are the usual amenities for meetings, recreation and business.

TownePlace Suites Midland offers 100 large, beautifully-decorated suites in studio, one bed or two bed layouts, all equipped with a full kitchen. Food for cooking can be purchased from the on-site, 24 hour convenience store, or from a supermarket opposite. Other sites a short walk away, all with a sporting theme, are Security Bank Ballpark, Grande Communications Football Stadium and Nueva Vista Golf Club. The hotel is built right at the west edge of the city by the 191/158 intersection, 6 miles from Midland International Airport. Free breakfast, an outdoor pool and exercise room are also available.

The southernmost of two TownePlace Suites properties in Midland, open summer 2020, is part of a sizeable group of hotels, restaurants and other businesses at the intersection of Interstate 20 with the Rankin Highway, 2 miles from the city center; it has a relatively quiet location, away from the main roads. Free hot breakfast is available, while drinks, snacks and cookable meals can be purchased from the 24 hour store - all the suites, either studio, one bedroom or two bedroom, include a full kitchen. The business and fitness centers are also open 24 hours.

SpringHill Suites, Marriott's most affordable all-suite brand, is represented in Midland by a property on the west side of the city, close to three sister hotels (Residence Inn, Courtyard, TownePlace Suites). Guests are accommodated in 107 modern, brightly decorated studio suites, featuring an executive desk, sofa bed, kitchenette, luxurious bedding and plenty of living space. Free hot breakfast is served each morning, and a delivery service is provided for local restaurants - useful, as there are only a few within walking distance. Leisure facilities are the usual pool, whirlpool and fitness center; the hotel also offers a business center and one meeting room.

Hawthorn Suites Midland is a recent addition to the all-suite/extended stay lodging in the city. All accommodations offer a full kitchen, work desk free wi-fi, and are contained within a four story building on the southwest side of the city close to the intersection of Hwy 158 with Bus 20; I-20 is one mile south. There are no facilities in the neighborhood apart from a couple of movie theaters; the nearest restaurants are 1.5 miles east. Free hot breakfast is provided, and the hotel also has a business center, gift shop and a fitness center.

The Holiday Inn Express sits beside I-20 at the Rankin Highway exit, set back a little from both roads behind adjacent buildings, and so providing quiet accommodation. Nearby are various restaurants and gas stations, and a Walmart superstore. This location is close to the south edge of Midland, 2 miles from downtown and 8 miles from the international airport. There are 90 rooms and suites available, together with the expected amenities of an outdoor pool/hot tub, fitness & business centers and a meeting room. Good quality free breakfast buffet is served each morning.

The Holiday Inn Express offers 50 rooms & 44 suites on three floors, an outdoor pool/hot tub, fitness center and free hot breakfast buffet. The hotel is located towards the northwest edge of Midland along Loop 250 (Wadley Avenue or Tremont Avenue exits), within two miles of attractions such as Midland Park Mall, Scharbauer Sports Complex and Nueva Vista Golf Club. Free hot breakfast is served and there are plenty of restaurants within a mile; most are around the next exit northwards (Midland Drive).

Open late 2020, Tru by Hilton Midland is the latest addition to the range of modern hotels beside the Scharbauer Sports Complex on the west edge of Midland - along Tradewinds Boulevard, near the junction of Hwy 158 and Hwy 250. Midland International Airport is 8 miles west, and the city center 3 miles east. The hotel provides free breakfast buffet, and has a 24 hour market selling beer, wine, snacks and sundries; there are also several restaurants in the vicinity. A fitness center, outdoor pool and games area (in the lobby) are the recreation amenities.

The westernmost of two Candlewood Suites hotels in Midland opened early 2021, providing affordable, all-suite/long stay lodging; all accommodations (studio and one bedroom suites) have a full kitchen, and plenty of living space. General amenities include a convenience store, a 24 hour fitness center and a gazebo with bbq grills. Wi-fi and guest laundry are complimentary. The hotel is part of a group of business near the Hwy 156/Hwy 250 intersection, within walking distance of the Scharbauer Sports Complex.

All rooms at Candlewood Suites Midland contain a kitchen with stove, microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher & sink, plus utensils; food for cooking can be purchased from a Wal-Mart superstore just across the street. The hotel has its own convenience store selling drinks, snacks and sundries. Meals can also be prepared using the barbecue grill in the gazebo. There are three restaurants nearby. The 113 room, four story property is reached from the Rankin Highway exit of I-20, one mile south of the city center, adjoining a quiet residential district. Other amenities include a fitness center, business center and guest laundry.

The Best Western Plus has a southeasterly location in Midland along the north I-20 frontage road, in a semi-rural location bordered by open fields to one side. The four floor, 75 room hotel provides comfortable, modern accommodations with plenty of amenities including free hot breakfast, an outdoor pool/hot tub, a fitness center & business center (both open 24 hours), and a microwave/refrigerator in each room. For other meals there are many restaurants two blocks away at the Rankin Hwy exit of I-20, and also a Wal-Mart superstore.

The lowest-priced Marriott hotel in Midland, TX, is the 53 room/18 suite Fairfield Inn, on the edge of a residential neighborhood near the north side of town, just off Highway 250 (and nearly opposite the Comfort Suites). Sites within 1.5 miles include the Midland Park Mall, Midland College, and the local airport, while rather closer (one block) are around 6 restaurants. Like most Fairfield Inns, the 2 floor hotel has the three amenities of an indoor pool, whirlpool, and free continental breakfast - complete with hot sandwich.

Avid Hotel Midland is one of the first two Texas representatives of the new affordable brand from IHG hotels, featuring bright, modern decor and high quality bedding, with emphasis on providing a comfortable nights sleep. The hotel is built at the edge of the countryside on the south side of the city, beside Interstate 20 at the Cotton Flat Road bridge, close to the Permian Basin Petroleum Museum. The nearest restaurants are one mile east. The principal amenities are free grab-and-go breakfast, a 24 hour fitness center and free wi-fi.

Comfort Inn Midland is part of a small group of hotels on the north side of Interstate 20 near the Rankin Highway exit, adjoining a residential area but partly surrounded by open fields. There are plenty of restaurants nearby, and a Wal-Mart store; the city center is 2 miles north. One other attraction within walking distance is the Permian Basin Petroleum Museum, featuring many exhibits about the history of west Texas oil and gas operations. Facilities at the Comfort Inn are as expected for a modern, interior corridor hotel, including free hot breakfast, fitness & business centers, an indoor pool and guest laundry. Some rooms contain a kitchenette.

New for spring 2020, Comfort Suites Midland is one of the large group of hotels, shops and other businesses on the west side of the city near the intersection of highways 250 and 158, close to Security Bank Ballpark and Grande Communications Stadium. Complimentary amenities are hot breakfast, all-day coffee and wi-fi; for other meals there are many restaurants within walking distance. Guest rooms contain a microwave and refrigerator, while the hotel also has an indoor pool, hot tub and fitness center.

Quality Suites Midland on Garfield Street is a reasonably-priced hotel with good guest comments, and is located in a quiet residential area towards the north of town, yet just 2 blocks from the TX 250 loop road, within easy walking distance of a selection of restaurants. Leisure facilities are an outdoor pool, whirlpool, sundeck and exercise room, while the spacious suites all include microwave, refrigerator, ironing facilities and free high speed internet access.

One of several Choice hotels in Midland, the Quality Inn is situated on the south side of town right next to I-20 (exit 136; Rankin Hwy, TX 349) - on the frontage road on the north side of the interstate, in an area of scattered residences with a few shops and restaurants. Downtown Midland is 2 miles north along TX 349. This is a relatively new, well reviewed hotel that has an indoor pool, hot tub & exercise room, and serves free continental breakfast. Rooms are available with a hot tub bath. A 25 person meeting room is provided for people here on business.

Super 8 Midland South is a new-lookingt property, situated at the edge of a residential neighborhood along the northern I-20 frontage road, adjacent to a restaurant and just down the street from a Walmart superstore. Access is from the Rankin Highway intersection, exit 136; the city center is 2 miles north. An outdoor pool and a fitness center are available for relaxation, while the hotel also offers basic business services. Continental breakfast is complimentary.

All accommodations at MainStay Suites Midland are studio suites which have separate living & working areas, including an executive desk and a sofa bed, plus a full kitchen. The four floor property has a quiet location, along the northern I-20 frontage road though positioned a little way back from the freeway. Guest rooms face east or west, looking out across the mostly undeveloped surroundings - at the southeast edge of the city, 2.4 miles from downtown. Both daily hot breakfast and weekday evening receptions (Mon-Wed) are complimentary. The hotel also offers a convenience store/gift shop, an outdoor pool, patio with bbq grill, fitness center and coin-operated laundry.

Midland's Sleep Inn hotel is situated right next to the Scharbauer Sports Complex on the southwest side of the city, near the junction of highways 250 and 158. This semi-rural location is also close to Nueva Vista Golf Course, Midland College, Midland Park Mall and the international airport. There are 71 comfy rooms in the hotel, all containing microwave and refrigerator; some are available with whirlpool bath and an extra sofa bed. Also on the premises are a pool, hot tub, fitness room, and dining area for the free continental breakfast.

The Suburban Studios provides affordable, extended stay accommodation; all the oversized rooms contain a full kitchen, while the other main amenities are guest laundry, a business center, a sundry shop and free hot breakfast. The hotel adjoins a travel center with restaurant, on the south side of Interstate 20 at the Holiday Hill Road exit (Hwy 250), in a peaceful location at the edge of the countryside, about half way (6 miles) between the city center and the international airport.

Accommodations at Microtel Inn Midland comprise one or two bed standard rooms, all equipped with a microwave/refrigerator, and a selection of studio suites which additionally feature a sofa bed and extra living space. The usual two complimentary amenities of continental breakfast and wi-fi are provided, plus a business center and guest laundry. Pets are welcome. The hotel is built opposite a Walmart store on the south side of the city, near the Hwy 349/I-20 intersection.

With 97 rooms on three stories, Baymont Inn Midland is a relatively large hotel, and it provides the only chain lodging near Midland International Airport, ten miles west of the city center beside Interstate 20. Amenities include a secluded outdoor pool at the rear, a cafe, lounge/bar, fitness & business centers and meeting space. All guest accommodations are equipped with a microwave and refrigerator. Continental breakfast is complimentary, as is a shuttle to/from the airport, 24 hours a day. There are few facilities in the vicinity; other restaurants, and shops can be found 6 miles east.

The Baymont Inn adjoins a travel center along Hwy 158 at the I-20 intersection (exit 138), bordered by open countryside to the rear. This location is 2.5 miles east of downtown Lubbock, within walking distance of a couple of restaurants though not near any other major facilities; the nearest supermarket is 2 miles west. Free breakfast is available, with a selection of hot items, while the microwaves and refrigerators in all guest rooms allow preparation of other meals. A business center, fitness room and guest laundry are the other main amenities.

Days Inn Midland occupies a large site along Business Route 20, 2.5 miles west of the city center. The exterior is brightly decorated in red and blue, and the place is quite well separated both from adjacent buildings and the freeway. There are 109 guest rooms available (accessed by exterior corridors), and all contain a microwave and refrigerator; some have a full kitchenette. The accommodation blocks are surrounded by an extra large parking area, with plenty of space for the largest vehicles. The main two amenities are free continental breakfast and an outdoor pool/hot tub, these in a secluded courtyard garden at the rear.

Simple, comfortable, affordable lodging is featured at the Super 8 motel, an interior corridor property along Wall Street (Business 20), opposite a row of car dealerships and within walking distance of several restaurants, to the northeast. Rooms have long distance views over the sparsely developed surroundings, and those on the south side overlook the outdoor pool. Apart from this, the only amenities are free wi-fi and free eight item continental breakfast.

The Rodeway Inn is a standard two floor, exterior corridor property, the guest rooms in three linked blocks surrounded by the parking area, accessed either from Wall Street or Midkiff Road. Amenities comprise coin-operated laundry, free wi-fi and free coffee. Pets are welcome, for a fee. The hotel has a southwesterly location in Midland, close to the Midkiff Industrial center, 1 mile from Interstate 20.
